The Scottish Weaver® was born in 1998 as a subsidiary company of Great Scot International®, Inc and made its on-line debut as a department of our associate company, escot.net, but subsequently launched as an independent website in 2003. The owner of The Scottish Weaver® and president of Great Scot International®, Inc, is Scots born Peter Wilson. With a background in engineering and an admiration for art, Peter combines the attention to detail with the beauty of woven plaid to provide complete satisfaction for customers.
The Scottish Weaver® offers a wide choice of stock tartans and has been a supplier to a host of Scottish Clan societies. The Scottish Weaver® is renowned for specializing in custom weaving in worsted wool, cotton, polycotton and polyacrylic using weaving facilities in North America. The Scottish Weaver® has expanded its product range and its market range. We now include ready made tartan merchandise in over 500 tartans. The Scottish Weaver® has supplied Corporate Customers, Interior Design Companies, Schools and Universities, Private Clubs etc. The Scottish Weaver® offers a full turnkey service from design concept to finished merchandise.
