Shipping and Returns
RATES All shipping rates are based on the total or "gross weight" of the package and product. As you add items to the shopping cart you will see the Shipping charge as a line item. The shipping charge includes packaging costs. Please note the shipping region and service options. Fabric orders have a separate line item for Handling. We always check the final shipping charge and will adjust the charge if deemed necessary. You will be notified by email if the charge is greater and request your approval before processing. All orders sent direct from Scotland, UK are sent by Royal Mail services and normally take 7 - 14 days by regular airmail. You may contact arrange a faster mode of delivery where possible. Shipments direct from the UK may be subject to US Import duty. But in any case, to avoid disappointment, make sure you order well ahead of the holiday in question. Customers are responsible for import tariffs and fees, if any and settle these direct with the carrier Most shipments within the US to customers in the USA take from 1 - 2 weeks. The Scottish Weaver is an on-demand company. All or our goods excluding Ties, Scarves and sashes are custom made when ordered.
Shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. They may be affected by factors over which The Scottish Weaver has no control, including incorrect delivery addresses, customs delays and Post Office delivery restrictions. Orders affected by such delays may take as long as 6 weeks to arrive. The Scottish Weaver will take no action on these orders during that time.
Shipping times are when the product is delivered to us from the supplier and from there we will implement the method of shipping chosen when the order was placed.
Express shipping cannot be selected for delivery to P.O. Boxes since this shipping option requires a physical address.
Additional Shipping Costs
There are no additional custom duties applied to your order however, The Scottish Weaver cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the purchaser or recipient of orders due to shipment failure or late delivery.
Please check your order on arrival and report any damage in writing within 7 days of delivery. All merchandise that arrives in a damaged condition will be replaced upon return of the damaged goods. We recommend UPS or Fedex for returns. Our policy is to replace any item that arrives in a damaged condition. We do not give refunds for damaged goods. We do pay the postage when we send you a replacement. However, we must ask that you pay the postage for the return of the item. Should an item you ordered be out of stock, you will be notified by email. We can offer a substitute item or recalculate your order. For all merchandise (not fabric) returns we charge a 25% restocking fee. There are no returns on Fabric orders. All return request must be submitted with 30 days. After 30 days there are no refunds or exchanges
Special Order Returns
